Civil Engineering continues to be one of the core services provided by R.C.T. Engineering, Inc., (RCT). Our technical staff has training in various different aspects of civil engineering. The number and scale of our projects have increased steadily over the years along with our reputation for quality work. RCT manages complex projects from feasibility studies through planning, design development, contract documents, construction administration and post-construction service. Our staff provides comprehensive civil engineering services for the public and private sectors. We also provide comprehensive site design including wastewater, stormwater management, water transmission and distribution systems, drainage and retaining wall design, and permit assistance.
Some of the recent civil engineering projects undertaken by RCT include civil site design services of the Loxahatchee Preserve Nature Center Facility that included access roads, parking, water and sewer systems and storm water management. Our Civil department was also responsible for the planning and design of the multi-million dollar site improvements to the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County waste transfer stations in Delray Beach and Lantana, Florida. The improvements at these facilities consisted of enhancement of traffic circulation patterns, upgrading of the storm drainage system and site utilities, new parking and roadway pavements. RCT prepared complete construction documents for these facilities. RCT also performed civil site design services for various improvements at the Solid Waste Authority of Palm Beach County Commercial Material Recycling , Scale House and Household Hazard Materials Facilities on Jog Road, and the Civil site design for expansion of the Jacksonville International Airport including site utilities, roadway pavement, retaining walls and parking facilities.
In the Pacific Northwest, traffic congestion and improper enviro nmental management can very quickly bring a halt to major construction projects. RCT has also conducted roadway Temporary Traffic Control and Erosion & Sediment Control designs along narrow residential streets, in a neighborhood stormwater detention park, and near a neighbor hood lake as part of the King County Hidden Lake Pump Station Replacement project for stormwater storage detention, pump station construction, and sewer and water utility replacement s along the entire four mile Boeing Creek sanitary sewer trunk.
Over the years, RCT has established impressive track records in public and private sectors. Our ability to understand the needs of our clients and our knowledge of regulations enhance the timeliness and quality of the civil engineering services we offer. |
