Ralph S. Tyler serves as the Chairman of the Board of R.C.T.
Engineering, Inc. (RCT). Trained in law, he focuses on business
development and operations management for the firm, and is one
of the most respected business and civic leaders in the
country. Prior to joining his father at Ralph Tyler Companies,
he served as Executive Director of the Greater Cleveland
Roundtable, one of the city’s preeminent civic organizations
composed of business, political, educational and religious
leaders. During his tenure, Mr. Tyler coordinated the group's
activities in education, labor management, race relations and
minority economic development, enabling the Roundtable to help
create public and private partnerships, which continue to
contribute to the tremendous resurgence that Cleveland has
enjoyed in recent years.
Mr. Tyler’s
professional experience includes executive positions in major
multi-national corporations. His responsibilities ranged from
management of state government relations to oversight of legal
and regulatory matters. His background in business, civic,
legal and political leadership, plus the fundamental values
learned from his father, positions him to lead RCT in the 21st
century. This understanding helps him to work closely with
clients in assessing their needs.
With
$3,000,000 in annual sales, Mr. Tyler develops finance, human
resources, marketing, business development and operating
strategies for this full service project management, engineering
and construction industry firm.
Mr. Tyler’s
organizational affiliations include the National Urban League,
and life membership in the NAACP and Alpha Phi Alpha
Fraternity. He is also a member of the Grand Lodge of Free and
Accepted Masons, 32º. His civic involvement includes the
Cleveland Metro Zoo, Housing Advocacy, 100 Black Men and
educational programming.
Mr. Tyler
attends Tabernacle Missionary Baptist Church in West Palm Beach.
